Dalam game Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (HM BTN) terdapat puluhan resep masakan yang bisa kamu buat sendiri menggunakan bahan-bahan dari Supermarket, produk hewani, hasil panen, dan item liar yang dapat ditemukan di seluruh Mineral Town.

Fitur memasak akan terbuka saat kamu mengupgrade rumah pertama dari Gotz. Setelah itu dapur dan saluran TV Shopping akan tersedia.

Kamu bisa membeli peralatan memasak setelah menonton TV Shopping lalu pergilah ke penginapan, disana kamu bisa gunakan telepon dengan biaya 10 G untuk melakukan pesanan.

Ada beberapa resep yang didapatkan dari penduduk desa jika kamu berteman dengan mereka, ada juga resep yang ditemukan saat menambang dan memancing ikan.

Sebagian hidangan mengizinkan kamu untuk menambahkan bahan tambahan. Dalam kolom “Bahan opsional” tersebut kamu bisa menambahkan bahan lain atau tidak sama sekali dan kode * adalah peralatan opsional.
